No, not me, Gladiators is back. For the unaanointed; Gladiators was a show where people with names such as "Koota" and "Viper" faced off against untrained professionals trying to win a couple of grand. Little kids sit in the audience waving dodgy signs I'm sure the art department made them take and people get hit with bats and pushed off things. It is hilarious, utterly hilarious. It was part of teh classic vault of 90's TV, along with the show where people dressed up in Snoopy costumes and raced over obstacle course and the educational Captain Planet (A comic about this topic may be on it's way if I stop being lazy...) It, along with the awesomely cool BBC Robin Hood has made my Sundays.

Yes, I'm back, it's holidays and I have spare time, such a sweet commodity to be sure. So that means I've got to get my hand back in a bit. I forgot how much of a release drawing can be; just putting together some lines and actually creating something, it's so liberating and it's amzing how the curve and position of a single line can really make or break a picture. I haven't had any breakfast.
Soooo... yes, I'm back. I've answered all the comments until about a year back, after that I just cut my losses, a big thankyou to everyone who's commented or had a chat with me over the past couple of years, (I think my DA account turned 3 on the 1st of April) and a huge thanks for the faves on my stuff. It's so good to be back, although it's probably only temporary, because come Term 2 I've really got to knuckle down.
I just had my half yearly exams for my senior year. I think I went alright (Still chasing after some first places in my subjects...) except for Maths, I've always been terrible at maths and for some reason beating the Elite Four on Pokemon Pearl seemed like a much more worthy task than studying for the 3 hour exam. I know, it's just a weird thing I do, if I'm not good at something, even when I try, I start to resent it and not try. So, I might drop maths, I already have 13 units which is way too much to have.
My major work's coming along nicely, I finished my first draft a few weeks ago, it's an 8000 word short story, I need to go back and add a bit more drama and feeling into it. I'm really hoping I can get in the top band; I have a little bit of an idea where I am as an artist but when it comes to my writing skills I have no clue.
Anyways, been to one or two good parties, freaked out, realised I'm a major fangirl and did some serious cramming; you know, the usual kid's stuff. I'm turning 18 in May, still got to think what I'm going to do about a party....

Yep, the title says it all. I'm off to Italy for 2 weeks, I'll be back around the 18th of Jan. Hope you all have a most excellent new year full of love, joy, laughter, creativity and breakdancing battle victories.

Just kidding. I thought that would be an amusing way to start the holidays. I know I live in the country, but sheesh. Anyway, blame today's violent media. For everything. For instance, I hate the way that the advertising reloads every couple of seconds and freezes the keyboard action for a minute. I really hate that. So it must have something to do with today's violent media- the man's trying to stop me from spreading these righteous truths, you dig?
I'm really sorry. It's beginning of the holidays and you should never it a whole bunch of Gummi bears late at night. And I'm excited because I have time to go and do all this I've wanted to do all year!
If you're reading this it probably means that you're still checking my page, you stumbled on my journal by accident (Get out while you still can!) or some other that I can't think of while my blood is pulsing with suugar. Whatever the reason, thanks, because I'll be doing my best to catch up!

Yep, sorry again about being so inactive. When I log onto DA I just start to feel sad and sorry for myself because I never seem to have the time or energy to do anything and I see what I'm missing. And now I'm starting Year 12, like the biggest thing so far.
Anyway, enough about me, I'll see you guys in a week or so, the rents are dragging up north for a family holiday at the beach (We already live near the beach. I'm not too excited obviously, I'd rather spend the second week of my holidays hanging out with my chums and drawing.)
So I'll see you in a week or so. I'd upload some of my new stuff, like my animation I did in Flash for my Multimedia class, it's not that good but I'm a bit of a newbie with Flash.) but my internet connection doesn't seem to like the sheer effort of uploading to DA. X(

Well, that worked out well. I. am. a. jerk. What's more I'm a jerk without the internet cause I downloaded 250MB in 4 days and my mum hid the modem cable (Now that's some good parenting!) I'm sorry you guys, you've been doing some awesome stuff lately and I just know when I finally get the time to catch up on the deviations I'll be all like "Woah!" I really miss Google's toolbar with the Spellcheck function.
I'd also like to apologise to The Enforcers readers.... all five of you... it's been what?.... 5 months since I updated! I have the half-coloured next update on my computer at home. It's truly frustrating because I mentally have the rest of Mutation mapped out in my head but I can never seem to muster the time or ethusiasm to do anything remotely proactive. It will get done and I won't give up, I just need to work out how to balance my life better.
And now for some idle banter! It is so cold down here, it's the coldest winter I can ever remember. I live in the coast and it's getting down to like 3 degrees C! It's supposed to be Australia not.... Cold...land... (Yeah, could have said Iceland but Coldland amuses me more.) And I saw Transformers, it was pretty awesome-faced in my opinion, the story wasn't too complex but the specail FX were great!
Anyways, there's no real need to reply to this, sorry wasting valuable art-making/pie-eating time XD!
